We take a great deal of pride in our studio, and we hope our dancers will too! Our rules of conduct are to be respected by all members of the studio and their families in order to ensure a positive experience for all.
All COVID safety protocols are stricty enforced
Check out the Student-Parent Handbook for the latest in our Covid safety protocols. These rules are in place to keep our students, staff and community safe.
Respect one another and be kind!
We expect our students and their families to show respect to the staff and faculty, to their fellow dancers and to themselves at all times! Rude, negative comments and/or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated from students or parents.
Hair UP and jewelry OFF
ALL dancers in ALL classes MUST have their hair up off the face and neck. Buns are required for female ballet dancers. No jewelry is permitted in dance class.
No Gum or Cell Phones in class
Absolutely no chewing gum is permitted in classes. Cell phones are also forbidden in class. Each studio has a bin for student cell phones to be dropped in at the beginning of class and collected at the end of class. No exceptions.
Nut-Free Zone!
In order to protect our students with nut allergies, we are a 100% nut-free zone.
Lost and Found
All items left behind are placed in our lost and found (located on the top shelf of the shoe racks in the lobby). Items that are not collected by the end of the season will be donated to the House of Blessing.
Late or Absent - Let us know!
Please email or call us at the studio if you are going to be late or absent for class.
Missed a class - Make it up!
Should your dancer miss a class (for any reason) you may attend a make-up class of the same style and age or a younger age. Ask us at the desk if you are unsure how the makeup class program works! This policy is in place from September to April - no make-up classes are permitted in the month of May as classes need to focus on their recital choreography.
No Running, Horseplay or Acro tricks outside of class!
There is no running, no horseplay and no acro tricks allowed in the hallways, lobby or change rooms. This rule also applies to the dance studio when a teacher is not yet present. This rule is in place for your safety.
Shoes OFF and ON the racks!
There are no outside shoes or boots permitted on any of the carpeted areas of the studio - especially not inside the studios! Please make putting all shoes ON THE RACKS PROVIDED a priority upon arrival. Parents too!
Use the garbage and recycling bins provided and clean up after yourself!
Show your respect for the studio by cleaning up after yourself (and your children)! We ask that all families and dancers dispose of their refuse in the bins provided, and that parents tidy up after their toddlers.
